a great way to calm down--ride a bike -- for a very long time.

believe it, or not.

i went on a date. can you believe it. i never get asked on dates so it was a priveledge. i had a fun time, but i will probably not go on another date with him. i am just not attracted to him in that way. just in a friends way. we went on a double date with a kid named travis bentley who is peters age and grew up down the street from me, it was kind of awkward. but he also had a date who just had a baby three months ago, she was nice. anywho we went to texas road house for dinner, and let me just say not my favorite. too noisy and crazy, and did you know they throw their peanut shells on the ground..what is up with that? weirdi's. following dinner we went to dixie bowl where we played one game of bowling and i totally beat everyone, which doesn't ever happen in bowling cause i am terrible but i got a 121 which is over double what i usually get, yes i was extremely excited. we finished up the double date by having ice cream at frost top where travis bought us all mustaches from the 25 cent machine. it was so funny i could hardly stop laughing.
travis and his date went left cause the baby was falling asleep so we ended up going over to sunset bowl to then watch for a long time the game that some of our friends were playing, yes it sounds boring, but i knew a lot of the people there so i was able to socialize and laugh a lot. and guess what? afterwards we headed over to iceburg for ice cream...wow so original. i didn't have any cause i was mucho stuffed. but more socializing happened and i ended up borrowing a cd from shawn elsmore, the new john allred covers cd, so that was the ultimate plus! i have been wanting that cd since it came out some time ago.

that was my date, the first in a long time. lets hope i can turn on the dalton charm and get myself another one:)

red. run.

went on a nice little run tonight...i felt alright. this has been my third run since getting back into running. i ran like 2 miles or so..and came back look like this.
i can not believe how red my face was upon returning from the run, which i ran without stopping. man, running makes me red.

fire fun under the southern moon.

although i was feeling a little ill i decided that i needed to go and do something, rather than sit around the house like i have been doing for the past few days, yuck. as you can tell my face proves the illness.
my friends and i, plus some newly made friends, went to roast mallows behind bloomington, vague description of where we were at, but its too hard to explain exactly how we got there, cause i was a little out of it. oh p.s. this is us trying to dance awkward. it was pretty funny, you should try it sometime.
we had a fire, which i helped by cutting up the palates we "borrowed" from wal-mart. roasting mallows, chatting, laughing, and most importantly...dancing. this is what my friends and i do, we dance crazily, all the time, anywhere there is music we dance. its kind of fun.

we also like to take tons of pictures. this is one of us being models. yes watch out americas next top model cause the new generation is coming.

i have recieved news of my final grades and i can not be happier about how they turned out for the semester. it took lots of studying and hard hard work, but i did it!

las vegas.

thursday night, just on a whim...my roommates and i decided to go to LAS VEGAS!! haha yeah i know it was crazy. we really didn't do anything, just walked the strip..looked at all the people...and got second hand smoke....hmmm, nice.

before going to las vegas we met up with some friends and went to dinner at Chili's. it was a lot of fun..i feel bad for the people around us, cause as usual when we all get together we are pretty darn LOUD! haha, but what can ya do when you only have a certain amount of limited time left with each other.
